Mohit Kamboj, Founder of KBJ Group and a renowned philanthropist shares his heartfelt condolences on the demise of veteran actor Shri Dilip Kumar. Mohit had the privilege of meeting and spending quality time with the actor who he remembers as being full of life and positivity even in his elderly days. Though deeply saddened by the loss of a renowned and loved actor, a friend, and a beautiful soul, Mohit believes that Shri Dilip Kumar must be remembered with a smile to honor the legacy that he has left behind in the form of his cinematic career giving Indian film industry some of the best movies.
Extending his condolences to the family, Mohit says, “My prayers are with the family and friends of the beloved actor. Today the world has lost a gem, but he will always remain with us in our prayers. His cinematic works will forever be remembered and cherished until the end of time.”
Mohit Kamboj remembers the famous dialogue by Dilip Kumar from the movie Mughal-E-Azam- “Taqdeerein badal jaati hain, zamana badal jaata hai, mulkon ki taarikh badal jaati hai, shahenshah badal jaate. Throughout his life, he is known as the epitome of love and care. All those who know him speak volumes about his humble personality and loving nature which is why he is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood.
Even in his 90s he was cheerful and always interacting with new people which is why everyone loves him, claims Mohit Kamboj. He has left a void in the hearts of everyone but more than anything this is an end of an era. During his teens, Mohit remembers watching every single movie of the actor because he was amazed by his screen presence and the way he brought his screen roles to life. Mohit Kamboj gained great inspiration from the actor’s work and words during his interaction and always made sure to follow his advice.
Having met him in his elderly age, he adds, there was so much to gain from his words of wisdom which he shared over just a cup of tea. Those are some moments that I will forever cherish and though with a heavy heart I will always remember him with smiles and never with tears.
Some of Mohit’s favorite works of the late superstar include Paigham, Mughal-E-Azam, Naya Daur, Devdas, and Sangdil. Watching these movies over and over again gives a sense of calmness and floods in an array of emotions exclaims Mohit Kamboj aka Mohit Bharatiya. While the country mourns the demise of our most loved superstar, it is also time that we seek inspiration from his work and apply his teachings in our lives.
Currently, Mohit Kamboj is working on building the KBJ Group and looking for avenues to expand it in spaces like production, education, and more. Mohit Kamboj also adds that for new-age actors and cinematographers his works must be taught in college academics so that the aesthetics of the art can be preserved in the best way possible. Dilip Kumar indeed has left a hole in all our hearts and he hopes that we cherish his work forever with a smile.
